HFBE, a Houston-based valuation and investment banking services firm with a second office in Dallas approached Techcess Group with a need to develop a seamless network between the two offices. Their current technology was ill-suited for their plans and posed a challenge down the road. And, bottom line, they had outgrown their current mom-and-pop IT outsourcing provider.

Techcess Group mapped out an IT strategy that included new hardware, a proactive schedule of maintenance, 24/7 help desk support and CIO-level consulting to maintain seamless communication between the two offices, as well as the outside world, and accommodate current and future growth. Techcess Group’s previous experience in the financial and professional services realm told us that the transition needed to occur with zero downtime to allow uninterrupted service to HFBE’s clients. Techcess Group leveraged its experience in the professional financial services segment to implement best practices for the advisory, providing internal IT processes, addressing security protocols for FINRA compliance and maximizing existing technology and personnel resources. Furthermore, the upgrade included the built-in ability to migrate the entire network to the cloud - an endeavor that is being undertaken now.
